Our newest arrival for the 2003 breeding season is the 16.2hh, 1991 TB mare "April Sound"....Jockey Club name "Ruthie Dear"...we think we'll stick with April Sound around here! April Sound showed VERY successfully in the Hunter divisions in California before an unfortunate injury brought her to a new career as a broodmare. This mare produced one amazing colt by All the Gold before coming to us and we are very excited to have her here!

In 1997 April Sound was AHSA Zone 10 Horse of the Year Awards 6th Place horse in Regular Working Hunter and 6th place horse in Green Working Hunter-Second Year. In 1997 she was also Region 1 Champion for the Pacific Coast Horse Show Association in both the Regular Working Hunter Division and the Second Year Green Working Hunter Division. Additionally in 1997, she was Green Working Hunters Champion for the Los Angeles Horse Show Association.

This mare has a temperament of gold, is fabulously put together, and has a jump that most people only dream of seeing! We love the great show record on this mare and we think our jump pictures of her really say it all! Her bloodlines include such notable names as Groton, Nashua, War Admiral, Nasrullah, Black Toney, La Troienne, TV Lark, Alibhai, Bold Ruler and Eight-Thirty.

We expect great things from this wonderful mare and couldn't be happier to have her as a fabulous addition to our broodmare collection.

Scotty's first foal did not disappoint! Her 2004 filly, Noble Sound, is a stunning grey by grand prix jumper Noble Champion. This filly has been sold to a hunter jumper show home.

In 2005 Scotty produced her first Palladio baby, Polo CF. This handsome chestnut colt could not have more presence. His personality is truly one in a million and he'll be very hard to part with!

In 2006 Scotty was open and played in the show ring just to prove she still had it!

In 2007 Scotty outdid herself with the arrival of Pacifica CF. This breathtaking grey filly is truly the stuff dreams are made of. She is a fabulous combination of elegance, power, personality and beauty. We expect a bright future for her!!
