Flurtatious

Oldenburg NA, Born April 4th, 1999
by Flambou out of Allegra
Bay with a small star

This special girl was sold to my good friend Andy Treichel as her future grand prix prospect. In a tragically sad twist, Andy lost her courageous battle with melanoma and this special mare came back to our farm. In a further sad event, this mare was injured in a freak training accident while out on lease so we will never get to enjoy the jumping talent that was always so apparent.

We hope that this special mare's talent, as well as the dreams of my good friend Andy, will live on in the athletic offsprinng of this mare. We eagerly anticipate her first Palladio offspring and are already counting the days until it jumps our fences as it's mom did as a youngster.

In a further sad twist Flurry's first foal for our farm had a freak gestational issue that caused leg failure...our poor little guy gestated with his front legs oddly crossed causing one leg bone to grow around the other leg bone. Tragically despite much vet work, there was nothing that could be done to save him...we'll miss him!!!

We are hoping for smooth sailing with Flurry's 2008 foal as she is once again in foal to Palladio.
