Click here for more information on Westwind

Westwind is a 1998 black bay warmblood mare registered with ISR/OLDNA . This fantastic and versatile show prospect has the bone and movement of a warmblood combined with the beauty of the Thoroughbred. She is well handled and incredible to watch and work with. She has been shown in hand and placed third for weanling hunter fillies at her first show and was Champion Hunter filly for the NWSHBA as a two year old. She behaved beautifully and quietly thoughout the fuss of grooming, clipping, bathing and showing. We are expecting Westwind to mature about 16.1hh. Westwind is currently under saddle and going great. She is a fantastic mover, light to ride and a willing jumper with great form. Please see sales page for Windy's current price.

Genuine 1998
by Gonzo I out of Aunt Lois

Congratulations to Vicki Von Arx!!!!!  We'll miss this one!

Genuine is a 1998 premium Oldenburg Verband filly. She is athletic, agile with incredible movement and impulsion. Her friendly disposition makes her enjoyable to handle and very calm with new experiences. She has bathed, clipped, body clipped, and shown in hand; taking all of the full in stride. Her fantastic talent makes her a wonderful, top quality show prospect for the dressage, jumper or three-day arenas. We expect her to mature about 16.1 to 16.2hh.

Her sire, Gonzo I is the heaviest bred Hanoverian in this country. He is by Gephard (sire of All The Gold) who is sired by the immortal Gottard. Gonzo I's dam is Dietgart who is a full sister to European Olympic legend Deister. Gonzo I offspring have proven themselves in the show arenas and Gonzo I broodmares are valued as sought after breeding stock. On her dam's side, Genuine boasts some of the top Thoroughbreds in the sporthorse world today. For dam pictures, pedigree, and information please see Aunt Lois.
Genuine offers the best in performance ability combined with the top bloodlines that could later make her a valuable addition to any breeding program.
