This colt exceeded
all expectations of what we knew would be a fabulous cross. His dam,
Bombay, was awarded the title of First Premium at her German Oldenburg
inspection as a foal and the quality is easy to see in all aspects of
this colt.
This colt is stunning to look at with lovely movment that should carry
him far in the show ring. As this colt is maturing we are beginning
to see incredible use of his hind end that suggests that he may be very
well suited for a dressage career. With his great looks and powerful
gaits we expect him to be a sucess in the hunter/jumper ring as well...but
whether jumping a fence or doing dressage...there is no mistaking the
fact that this guy is going to be able to sit on his hocks!
We are very devistated
to say that his dam, Bombay died suddenly when this colt was just a
month old. Lucky for us his grand-mare "Aunt Lois" has stepped
in and is now raising him as her own. We are very sorry that we will
not be getting more foals from Bombay as we would love to have more
just like him!!!
