Princeton CF has
all the makings of a top quality show horse. His excellent conformation
and calm, willing, curious temperament make him a pleasure to work with.
His powerful movement makes him a natural for both the dressage and
jumper rings but we expect him to hold his own beautifully in the hunter
realm as well. We see him following in the footsteps of big brother
Paddington and expect the same easy personality, trainable mind and
super talent. Princeton could not have more correct conformation and
we look forward to seeing him in the ring.
Princeton showed
serious potential in his only time through a jump chute and has been
fully nominated to IJF (International Jumper Futurity) which now includes
full nomination to the IDF(International Dressage Futurity). Very few
three year olds ever show such impulsion and correctness so early in
their under saddle training. Princeton's fabulous gaits and wonderful
stage presence make us truly believe that he will be equally suited
for an upper level dressage home as an upper level jumper home.
Princeton had initial
screening xrays taken in Spring of 2007 as he was started under saddle
and everything looks great...he's ready to head to a competition home!
If you are a rider
that is looking for a capable and willing partner with the talent to
go far then this might be the dream horse for you. So far the trainers
that have met him (both dressage and hunter/jumper folks) have been
incredibly impressed with his potential and charming demeanor...he is
truly wise beyond his years. While we know this guy has the power and
technique to SERIOUSLY jump...but we feel the quality of his gaits and
excellent work ethic cannot be overlooked as the makings of a top dressage
competitor.
